yes plz i say it a cool idea remind me of the care package in *but here a quetion dose the radioman need to be in the ship support slot for this feature to work or in red ring in shipyard?dose the potential on the radioman make a diffence in fighter/ bomber power?and should this feature be for every ship yea sure there the reload time is 5 min but there like 18 to 22 players in a gb battle team it dosent seem right to me like mabye only cl and dds could call for them?

Radiomen can call in Land Based Aerail support

Yes finally some one bring up nukes!!Hahahahha so fun!!
Well if anything got direct hit by a nuclear bomb/missile/rocket/grenade(yes there was/are a "grenade" or rather a portabal by two man)/suitcase, it would just be gone because of the heat.
There are five types of nuke explosions some have been tested since 1940.
Airburst: You implode the bomb in the air, about 3-5 km up in the air to minimize the radiation in the future.
Space: This really dont have any name as it was only for science (as USA and Russia statted it), they did implode around total 5-7 nukes in space to see how the explosion, radiation and how the material in space would behave from a nuclear explosion. Many think it was tested for looking towards the futture if the new battleplace would be space, then they would know what behavior the nuke would have in space against man-made spacecrafts and the "normal" material some are there.Surface: This is when the nuclear explosion center is just 200-1000 m (it have also been tested when the bomb did hit the ground directly or when it was laying on the ground) from the surface of the ground, this is mainly for making sure everything in the area of the explosion while be destroyed and nothing while survive the blast or radiation.
Underground: This you need to have acces to the territory to be able to do anything like this (if it aint underwater). The prinicple with this is just self defence really, the enemy cant see the bomb and when the enemy go over the bomb the press the button and the bomb explode. This was developed during the 50-60s when the Europen theather would be alot of USSR tanks (since they had alot of tanks and NATO didnt). So they come up with the idea to have nukes, both airdropped and underground as that would be easier to handle. As the NATO generals didnt know if USSR would put in tanks on every front or just some specific points the troops closeby the underground nuke could ask to blow it up if they saw enuf enemy forces.
The underground nuke is not much for killing with radiation at directpoint, its more about the shockwave to kill the troops.Water: The water explosions is a bit diffrent from the underground explosions as the underwater explosions is to kill both with shockwave and with radiation. As the water is throwed up in the sky its contains radiation (fallout) and it while raindown again with the radiation it while hit the ships closeby some have crews and they while die really fast from this radiation as it havent been able to fall apart so much. The shockwave while prettymuch shacke your vital organs all around inside of you (that while cause you to die really fast or in the next 24 hours, that is why you're normally carried away from a close by explosion as the shockwave normally bust your organs up and that wont showup on you if you dont take x-rays). So if they sink the ship or not isnt really a matter, as long they neutralize the crew or kill it.I had really nothing too do so I took my time to explain it. As I saw someone wrote Nevada took a direct hit from a nuclear explosions, thats just *. If you have seen a nuclear explosions you see just white the first seconds, thats for over 10000 degree celsius you got just a white colour (that is for no certain colour can show it self at that degree or above it) then you got over to red, that shows it have gone belove 6000 degree. 10k degree while melt anything close to it.

Radiomen can call in Land Based Aerail support

i will not recc this idea...

there are many things to consider... maybe for a Harbour Battle give the chance to fleet member, at harbor room. to use (just 1 player per team) this option...

or maybe in GB2 fleetleader can do it...

but i do not support the enter of new types of aircraft... there are too many to balance... they should stick with TBs, DB and FT currently existing

Radiomen can call in Land Based Aerail support

hicagoBears]
So someone can call in an atomic bomb and destroy any ship they want? Even a fully armored QV or what? Because in real life (i know NF=/=real life) the neveda got sunk with 2 atomic bombs. So if a neveda can take 2 nukes then...
The Nevada actually SURVIVED Operation Crossroads, abeit heavily polluted with radiation...
By the way, land based bombers are horribly ineffective against shipping (or anything small in general, unless you're willing and capable to swarm some 300 B-17s just to hunt down a small fleet...)

It did but he removed it. Read the first post instead of jumping over them and only read the last once so you dont need to think on the hard stuff to beat someonce else arguments but still strike at the others.
Also the radiomans ability would go to the aircraft skills instead of the potential skill. Why? Yes for the whole idea is that the radioman can call in waves of bombers/fighters.
