My new Sub, wich faction shall it be?

Hello everyone!
 
Don't be fooled by this topic because it won't be a question like, "whats the best SS"? As we all know, each ship has different roles.
Nowadays i have an IJN sub and still enjoy it to the fullest, however im very appealed by other nations subs.
My IJN crew is avarage, and I'll do fine in most battles. This because i started my IJN sub back in the days when i did not have much knowlage about navyfield and stats. I'm currently thinking of buying the SS crew pack and start all over but this time with a very good crew.
(I don't mind it is 25,- cause i play navyfield already for a very very long time and it nice to give something back for theire effort.)
 
So i started thinking, I like my IJN wich one will i also like appart from KM. Don't get me wrong, KM is cool and goodlooking and has nice history but more people know this and navyfield is already flood with KM subs. Want something different.
 
My question is: Wich sub will be my uber crew training for. Wich sub will benefit verygood from stats? The soviets looked insteresting to me, however i don't know much real history about these. Are those worth it? If not, wich one would you suggest?
 
P.s. if someone has history information about soviet subs, please post!!!

coming from playing IJN you will find alot af other nations good fun, i loved playing ijn SS but the lack of back torpedo can be a pain when V other SS,
KM is the easiest to play imo
MN is a nice SS prob my second favorite
SN is also close behind it along with US and RM
the only 1 i havent really played or liked much is UK
this is just personal opinions though

Thanks for replying! And don't understimate youself, its not "just your opinion" but "you r opinion"! And that where this topic is for, sharing information and opinions.
Hope you will look back at this topic because could you please expain why MN is your second favorite?

I play IJN Subs, they are pretty good for killing BB's specially with the SS4 however the SS5 plays different as it has only 6 front torpedoes so you lose 2 as the SS4 has 8.Yeah you might have no rear torps but if you use the SS4 correctly you can give enemy subs a hard time from the front as you can spray torps to keep the enemy away or in critical dive. If you can cause the torpedos to explode as the enemy sub is approaching near them that can cause quite a lot of damage. Also IJN subs have the most air available which means the IJN SS5 can stay under water the most time out of all subs.

Thanks for your reply though i already have an IJN sub. My point of this topic is to know how other factions prefom compared to IJN. (Except KM)
However i'm greatfull for the information you've posted (Did not know that the IJN SS5 had the most oxy) its not what helps me atm ^^

MN is also an interesting choice. Small profile subs that if played well can pass through tight situations against all nations (except KM proxys of course).After IJN, I think a good choice is KM or MN.

I currently have all the SS at a minimum of SS3 and let me tell you that, I was looking for something "different" then what most of the community had. So to answer your question.You have IJN already, so thats out. KM is played by a lot of players, so that's out too. BUT if you want to try the SN subs, they have the fastest torpedos and they look pretty cool. The UK sub is also fun, not many people play it.. and who wouldn't like to fire  a  BB gun from its deck gun. (Just so you know the BB gun on it can only fire straight ahead, practically.) RM subs are not the greatest, but not to say that they are bad. So if your up for a challenge and think you can prove that RM subs are amazing in the right hands, why not challenge yourself to show everyone that it is a good sub nation. And finally, MN subs.. wow. Let me start by saying even at the low tiers building up the the higher tiers it has A LOT of torpedo launchers, and with its size its a formidable advisary Vs. KM subs. Their are a few MN subs around, but not as many as there should be because it really is a good and different sub.Hope this helps answering some of your questions.

Thanks for your information! It answered for sure some of my questions.
So now its more between MN and SN.  SN is known that they are not very good at torpedo's as i may believe the navyfield site, good to know that they have the fastest topedo's around. Because that changes allot. But is that the only thing that SN has to offer?
So MN has a very long divetime (saw that at a topic at MN section) are pretty fast and have much torpedo's. Gues my decision is almost made...
Though i still need to think about it. Because i always like to play Russians in many games, dont know why. But they usually don't let me down..
More information always welcome!
P.S. Don't forget if you know something or some articles about Russians submarines, please tell me. Im not able to find much about them
