In game, you have a skill % next to your experts and veterans that says say "68%", and that percentage decreases if your total crew goes up but your veterans stay the same. So MAYBE?? its not simply veterans are 4x skill and its how many veterans and experts in relation to total crew? Just a thought.Like what im saying is, My pilot has 100 vets and 300 total crew. The % next to his vets is something like 128%+. But the veterans on my rep is 100 and he has 650 total crew. So one way makes them tougher at mid levels.  The real question is:At level 120, does it matter?

i have cvs on all but one nation. i have classed all the way to sq leader evbe.  u will wind up with 236 max vets classing on time.  if u leave as fp u could have 300+ vets max. either way it helps to have as many vets as possible but than at the same time it depends on ur cv skill with miroing the fps. i have chewed up alot of cvs that i am sure have late classed there fps and have more vets than i, but at same time i have to really be working my tail off to be successfull in doing so.  i am currently trying the late classed method on my new mn fw crew only time will tell but will post again once completed to let u know what i think of the differance it makes.  the biggest mistake i see alot of cvs is tryiing to fight each other leading to a fail team, granted fps are for fighting and scouts for scouting but ur bbs cant always keep there scout up and if u are only concerned with shooting the bombers and fps and not scouting then u will be faced with many fail teams.  good luck.

Well, I have to say I admire the patience of B_O_S_S and V2bong, since this question of classing fighter pilots has been treated x times.
Really, just using the search function in this part would have given you all that (and more) info.
Sad state of affairs this game (and its players) are in.

I actually take back what I said about people too lazy to search. In this case, it was just Krazysride who felt he had to do a 2-year necro to justify his fail classing...

indeed maybe have have a few that i perfered to do this way, however i do just fine with them. as they say do late class it is unreal how much better they do perform...my lvl 75 Mn fps are outstanding.  agreeded i got a few crews that i failed with the classing, but it wont happen again.
