EBB3 guns
egabstr]@jotabe im pretty sure the mississippi goes faster than the colorado. Since you have not reached the speed cap of the ships, you cant compare the speeds just yet. The "requirements" for reaching the speed cap will be different since they use different engines. So if you wish to compare the ebb2 to the regular BB2s, it comes closest to the penn43 in terms of engine/ship specs I don't own a mississippi, but I'm already pretty sure it can go 44 knots max with proper setup based on the specs. The sodak guns will produce the same bad spread whether your gunners are elite or not. The higher level your gunners are, the better your spread will be. (not that it makes a big improvement at endgame)and personally, i'd prefer the sodak over the maryland simply because of the high speed difference.[/QUOTE]Max I've had the colorado @ was 44 knots, Max I've had the Mississippi was 42, the ship itself is slightly heavier so it doesn't get to 44.Mississippi can only load Mark 7 Ls or Mark 2 Ls in a realistic setup and can only load the Mark 3 Ds ( 2 binds of ammo) max and I highly recommend you pick between the 16" Mark 2s or 14" Mark 7s for best performance. If you want the "Mini monty" setup from the Colorado, wait til the Maryland, it can use the Mark 3 Ls with 5 binds there (Or was it 4, can't remember I rarely use the EBBs).The Mississippi really plays like the Colorado if you want to compare it to another ship on the line. The Maryland plays like an overpowered Colorado "Mini Monty" setup with Mark 3 Ls instead of Ds or plenty of ammo with Mark 2 Ls or Mark 7 Ls if you so desire. It also goes 24/40 with Mark 3 Ls and 25/42 with correct ammo with the Mark 2 Ls and Mark 7 Ls. |
