In the initial patch, they should increase its size to that of the AD. The only BB45 I had some trouble landing partial salvos with was H39/H44 due to their infamous inconsistent range.
The AP capabilities should also be adjusted but not removed - its a nice counter to those rushing AW L2s.
Unfortunately, I'm afraid SD will implement a KM-style nerf with Italy and remove nearly everything that makes them truly unique.

I'm pretty sure they will not change the sprite to break the ship since I don't think there are ANY BB4 (well almost any BB4) that really give you a ton more advantage than the BB5. Infact BB5's are usually sunk by BB4's due to them NOT PAYING ATTENTION. Seriousy....if you see an AD looking ship past the line and your entire team doesnt nuke it thats yours and your teams fault. Ask anyone most BB4's actually perform as well as or better than their BB5 counterparts when it comes to battleship to battleship combat. Iowa...cmon I'd rather use my Iowa than my monty who cares about the 1 shot when you can barely dodge shells and you have a 40minute hangtime. Its fun and does a ton of dmg but no where as manueverable or fast. Same with the yammy. Nerf those before you nerf the RM BB4. Theres OP/UP on all the nations for different trees. Honestly be like everyone else and get used to it. Then the ninja patch will happen and people wont wanna play RM anymore.

Of all the nations you complain about US hangtime? Either way, neither of those are overpowered. Just cuz they hit hard doesn't make them OP like the RM BB4. The Iowa you can hit, and the Yammy is made out of paper mache. It's fine if you like playing your Iowa because it's fun, but that doesn't mean it's overpowered or in need of a nerf. My Opro2 is fun to play, but I wouldn't need a nerf on that ship either. Just because I'm inclined to play a ship doesn't mean it's by default overpowered.Now, that being said...For one thing, it manhandles anything with high hangtime like a naughty child. Anything AW can't outrun it and get's riddled to death.  When you say "bb5s are usually sunk by bb4s..."  I hope you mean that when they're sunk by BB4s it's because of that reason... Not that "most bb5s are sunk by BB4s". And even still, if I see a BB4 in my BB5, I don't ignore it for any reason :\ it should be fodder because I can outrange and outhit it, if even just slightly. I've never "ignored" an Iowa/L1/Yammy/whatever that's in my range just because it can only almost 1hit/cripple me... And saying that there's an OP/UP tree for any nation is terrible rhetoric for your point. Nothing in this game is supposed to be over or underpowered based on it's tier. It's supposed to have different playstyles, strengths, and weaknesses (rock paper scissors, not rock paper lazersword). Compare the US BB lines to each other or especially KM BBs and you'll understand this. Assuming you've ever taken the time to play more than one line of a nation...

[/QUOTE]If you take away what makes RM 'OP' (Small size, decent firepower and supposed reload speed) then what are you left with? A steaming Pile of crap, they are supposed to be the counter to the rather bland and game killing static BB line (after your 10,000th game of a BB line swap-a-shell it would be very bland and boring), they have the size, speed and strength to counter it.In my opinion they aren't OP, they can be sunk (some people here who say it's unsinkable are fools) and they can be countered (Low angle firing guns and good gunners)

Look, there are ships that aren't op just like vanguard, L1, Iowa and people do have fun in those ship and still play with them.Also, Zultra, you are just not experience with NF enough to distinguish what is OP and what is not. And just to give you an idea, I am nearly unstoppable in my KM andrea doria which has bigger hitbox and slower than your RM BB4 and does way thousand time less, and doesn't nuke armour with its gun. The RM BB4 is just a better KM AD.We have the RM bb4 now, it's the same story at the exception of spread. That I could understand you.I think you were never here when SN was just released, we all knew Imperatrista was overpowered to hell, and now we have again something overpowered to hell.The ship will have the reload advantage, for sure a better spread. The hitbox will remain, and you will still have it. (hitbox remain because sde does not want to change it) But forgot the combo killer with anti-armour, damage,25 degree angle and submergence which are turning the ship Overpowered.(25 degree gun angle because of faulty game engine mechanic which can lead a ship into overpowered as well as OP. Which is why 30 -35 degrees suits the best.)

funny how 2/3 of those ships historically in game have been nerfed/slightly buffed due to being OP. The L1 has always been a monster in GBs, and still is, the vanguard used to have a reputation for farming BB1-3 rooms, but thanks to the the failed efforts of ONF was turned into a BB4.
The iowa is without a doubt the best BB4 in the game balancing decent AA, speed, hard hitting guns, and turn radius, which could be argued as OP.

Based on your given examples above, I dont think you are experienced enough to distinguish that difference either, however that doesnt stop you from having an opinion, however mislead and biased it is.

The fact that you bring skill to the table in a PBB is laughable. The KM AD even post nerf is still an OP ship. I understand you trying to justify it in line with the RM BB4, however, thats the equivalent of saying that I am using my OP ship to validate a mundane point. Your AD, is more on par these days with a BB2-3, whereas the RM BB4 is in an entirely different tier. Therefore, your point is once again irrelevant.
Fact of the matter is:
1.) the RM BB4 is OP in terms of firepower, firing arcs, and hitbox. These are values that need a little tweaking, not a major overhaul
2.) the RM BB4 needs to be in line with its counterpart BB4s of other nations, trading off values that are giving it an unfair advantage, while still maintaining a unique style of play.
3.) If SDE is unwilling to change the sprite size, then they must be willing to nerf one of the following:
 decrease its submergence(a made up value IMO)
  increase reload time(makes no sense given national advantage)
  increase gun angle(makes no sense to take away an unique trait)decrease damage output and decrease reload time slightly(makes best sense given its a rushing nation)
leave it as is and increase the sprite size to that of a true BB4 instead of these tiny next to unhittable ships.

Stop complaining, the ships are fine.Learn to aim then you can sink them quite easily if you know what you are doing.BTW: you will moan when they nerf the italians, so just leave them as they are, saying that fix there AA it's pathetic.

[/QUOTE]Actually I don't even own a BB1, just from my observations of GB battles, just because you don't get a blockshot 100% of the time doesn't mean the ship is too small.I think they will ruin the italian fleet, they are supposed to have a reload advantage, I don't see that anywhere, there guns have been weakened.The Italian fleet is the only reason I play. 
[/QUOTE] I actually made a range/damage test with RM BB4 and KM BB5.
 
At max angles, those ships have pretty much the same range (speed at 0 turned straitgh to south both.) RM BB4 Angle : 25, KM BB5 Angle : 37
 
which means the 1st advantage of km is Gone, the low angles that permits to hit faster then any other ships.
 
KM BB5 guns (I was using the 16.5")
 
RM BB4 Guns : I think they have something like 14.5/15" guns.
 
blockshot for both of us, with no crits at 100% health and 900SD :
 
KM : 25k attack.
 
RM : 28k attack.
 
that's all i have to say.

Just wittness couple now that bouce my Maryland's 16".Did more damage switching to AP, but with some AW and that size....
