At max angles, those ships have pretty much the same range (speed at 0 turned straitgh to south both.) RM BB4 Angle : 25, KM BB5 Angle : 37
 
which means the 1st advantage of km is Gone, the low angles that permits to hit faster then any other ships.
 
KM BB5 guns (I was using the 16.5")
 
RM BB4 Guns : I think they have something like 14.5/15" guns.
 
blockshot for both of us, with no crits at 100% health and 900SD :
 
KM : 25k attack.
 
RM : 28k attack.

Yes that was all in caps. People like you are the reason I keep leaving. KM is slightly broken witch has been said for ages but the AA is OP in comparison to everything except a late classed IJN DP gunner.
 
This issue hasn't been fixed nor do I see it being fixed anytime soon. Deal with it and shut up. Theres so many NERF RM threads around even nearly 2 months after I've been sitting on my BB5.
Basically you try grinding the BB5 in comparison to the BB4 and let me know how much exp you get per game. The BB5 is terrible the BB4 is OP. Balance.

SDE at it's best i guess, the want to troll the NF populace with RM not surprised hopefully we can balance it but with how slow patching is it's doubtful anyway some lol's to pass the time.
Making a Ship OP does not balance out something thats underpowered period.  The italian bb4 has no reason to be as strong as it is and the bb5 is only as poor as it is because we had such a short period of time to try and fix the ships before they released them thus what we have now.
Besides you think the STOCK RM bb4 is bad? Wait until the rental is around!  Should not be much longer since they seem to be finishing the harbor's for declaring upon on the test server so it will only be a short while longer before they appear on the live server.
 

i must say, i am up to BB5 Level now, and the BB4 seems alot stronger then the BB5.
It deals more damage and can take more hits then the BB5, even though it has smaller Hitpoints and Caliber.
Can we expect that the BB5 gets buffed a little bit, while the BB4 gets nerfed?
Just curious, just seems as if it makes no real sense to play BB5, i even seem to be getting more Xp in the BB4 , on similar Game outcomes, meaning about same attack on a win, BB5 gets less XP.
In the BB4 i get easily 40-50k xp , but in the BB5 i hardly even get 40k, although not playing long enough to be 100% sure about this statement.

The bb5 was ment to be better than the bb4 however due to only having 1 month to fix an entire nations issues RM was released as it is, they did a nerf to damage but the damage was not the issue.
The issue is a combination of size, hitbox, firepower, range, and angle, i just assume SDE does not really care one way or the other about if it's fixed or not.

To Answer your question though yes the bb5 should be better than the bb4 for exp and such however like i said it's currently not the case.  We are trying to fix things but it will take some time.

Obviously you need to take your head outta something.Not only are these ships small and powerful but they are like frign ALIEN ARMORED TANKS.Soooo happy this nation is getting nerfed. I absoultely hate it. Has ruined the balance of the game...for now at least.

You can squeeze out a bit more disp with 2 trips and a dual, same 8 barrels but you can add some belt , bulk, and bulge as well.
