How come I am so slow?

Hey subdrivers,I have ijn SS4.This is my crew setup:Bo - 80 vets 0 experts 1 recruitTorper - Fully bve and recruitPlanesman - fully bve and recruitSonar - fully  bve and recruitengy x3 base 11 fully bve and recruitspeed: 25/35OH time: 55-65 seconds.I have 0.2 belt 4 bulge. If i remove this i dont go any faster. But if i remove 1 engy i go faster.How can i go 39 KNTS OH? I should go faster with 3 engys lvl 90-93 fully bve and base 11.All my crew is +11 and sonar/planes +14'sHow do i make myself faster? I see people going faster with the same engys.they got 100-110 vets each. I try to put on more,i do 100 experts>vets and put on another 100 with expert pack (from event)But speed doesnt really increase...Help!

Are all your engis in a support slot?

Yes, where else should i put them....I have no gunner and i dont use the slot, i use all slots but gunnerslot.Everything is in supp slot, and torpers on torp slot BO on Bo slot ..

I have also ss4, I swapped an egine by a seaman. if your base +11 eginer and I advise you to upload a seaman ebev! the seaman will help sailors in all giving a bonus for all suport

pium1]Eu tambem tenho SS4 IJP eu fiz a troca do enginer por um seamam ele funciona melhor . seu eginer e base+11 eginer e melhor colocar o seaman alem do seaman fazer a função do eginer ele tambem vai dar mais bonus nos outros suportes aumentando a habiledades de sua creen (sonarman,planesman,repar,eginer).[/QUOTE]???English please

Engineers do not stack ability the same way as other sailors. Additional Engineers provided less of their ability. If your engineers abilitiy are not the same (or similiar) adding a second or third can lower your OH speed. (will increase OH endurance though).

They are nearly the same.The ability has a difference of ~30

Adding ontop of everyones suggestions, Keep in mind IJN Subs are slow. Its one of the downsides to their Subs.Just adding on.
