HiSo, ive read some threads here about it, And ive read most of the guides on nf-guides.com and im familliartrainworld.us.Now i need a crew.I already have 11/11 gunners ready and 3 reps 11/10/10. So i need to roll 7 10/10/11 engies right ? and one rookie...i have a BO +14 and +10 almost in everything else, is it good enough ? And here's the question. How im suppose to lvl all these sailors ? Ive read here that is adviceable to play it with two BO ( play it twice ) but this i dont really understand.First ill play with BO 2 guns and whatever supps i have a slot for until i reach County ? And then until i reach York ?Am I be using the same gunners ? This way they will out run both crews, does it matter or its fine ?And What's the setup for the first and second crew if i have 3 reps/7eng.Do i split them to two groups of 5 ?So first run would look like this : 2G's, first BO and 5 supps ( rotating those until CL where all 5 slots are available )and the second : Same 2G's, second BO, and another 5 supps and same thing with rotating( but when i get to CA i have 6 slots, that slot will be empty this way )Its a mess. Can somebody enlighten me please ?

hi there and welcome to NF,First of all the amount of crew you have mentioned is correct. If you are planning to go all the way upto bb6 you will need 14 sailors. So 2 gunners 3 reps 7engs BO and a scout.The engs and reps try to roll +12 ones as they are a bit better (you will notice it later on when you have longer overheat). +11 are not bad especially if you are going to boost (premium sailors i think its called = can be bought in the olive store) and put some veterans (you are allowed to put up to 100 from those you buy and after that you will have to roll them but it is going to be difficult) and experts (either buy them or do some AA games it gives you experts).2 BOs: +14 is good enough.   what i do i use all support and scout on the ship i currently use (rotation) so they are all the same level. At the same time i have a neutral sailors (keep in mind you will have to class him as UK sailor on time and leave him like that) which i power level until the wished level;. I would say it would be nice if you power level that sailor until the PBB or whatever you see fit. this way you will be able to use both line bbs unless you are planning to go aircraft carrier (CV) line or SS line with the second BO. If you are going BB line with both then by the time the second bo is high enough to use BB1 your support will be of the same level and this way you will have gunners higher than the second BO which will allow you to use higher level guns (if they fit). Also you will have gunners way above both bos at some point which will give you better reload and better accuracy. Gunners: for UK you are better of to go reload gunners. Reload caps later than accuracy. You will a horrible spread at lower levels but you reload will be faster. UK guns are slow as it is so you are better of with reload gunenrs. If you havent got a pair try to find 12 acc 11 reload or elite accuracy gunners (you can buy this ones) 13 11 and class them as reload gunners. It will help with the accuracy.Support: 3repairers and 7 engines is a nice setup. Resoterers you will not need at higher level (everyone say they are useless once you cap the 900 SD). As said earlier you will be better of with +12 ones but +11 are going to be good enough for your first crew. The above setup will give you the extra overheat (stay on amx speed longer) and a good enouogh repair rate. Try to mix the crew up according to what you feel is best for your way of fighting. I kept always 3 engs onboard and 1 rep at lower levels.AA gunners: i dont use them so you are better of asking someone else. If you need any more info feel free to ask.Sanitarium

hi doubleon3..Welcome to NF, i hope you enjoy your time here..I think Sanitarium has put it all very well, just to add.AA gunners - Most UK BB players will NOT use AA gunners, most use these slots for extra Reps/Engis. I myself use a pair of RLD gunners for HH's(hedgehogs). I would suggest either of these options depending on your play style( Rep/Engi/Rld gunners), and not use AAW sailors.I'd also like to add that +12's will be better in the long run than +11's, its worth taking a little longer to get a nice crew rolled.I also use the 2 BO method, but i swap over BO at smaller stages to keep the BO's not to far behind( +- 20 lvls or so).I would like to add here, to roll sailors takes away from your points, at the start of game you do not have enough points to start trading, and i would say this is very important. It may be wise to level up what you have got now( BO-Gunners-etc), until you have enough points/credits (150k/150k?) ,to be able to trade. Often people will give new players free points, so they are able to roll new crew for there ships. At this point you will know more about the game and you will have enough points to roll all the sailors you will need for a battleship crew, without going under the trade limit. Also a good point to roll the 2nd BO and go again.GL with the new crewNo1sheroEditted-P.S. i myself would go for - 1x BO - 2 x Main gunners(rld,as sanitarium stated above) - 1 x Scout - 4 x Repairs - 6 x  Engineers as final crew.OR - 1x BO - 2 x Main gunners(RLD) - 1 x Scout - 4 x Repairs - 4 x Engineers - 2 x secondary gunners(RLD)(Mid Slot gunners for hedgehogs) as final crew. I like this 1 best myself . GL

Very helpful. Thanks a lot !I have 11/11 guns ready. I dont know if i have enough nervs to roll for 2x 12/10 xD ( Dont have credits to buy'em )And i found olives rather expensive so iam not going to BVE anything. ( Its 310 Olives for one BVE (100vet) sailor )I know you get experts more if you play good ( hitting your target a lot ), but explain me the thing about playing AA games giving experts. i mean is it shared to the whole crew ? and how is it works ? I mount a ship with AA guns only,put on supps, and the gunners get experts faster for shooting down planes ? = i need a second pair of gunners for that ! aaaaEdit : To Sanitarium : About the power leveling. You mean the second BO ? Plvl him until BB ? Then make him a BO ? Is it vice ? There is a ability growth lost if you do that.And to add : I already have a 50 +- IJN crew on Myoko. I already had to lvl up some additional supps Im not going further though, I saving for Mogami CA since i rolled 2x 10/12 gunners ill make an AA ship from it. ( 4 +5 duals shooting from those nice IJN D guns is not so bad, im gonna use my original gunners (52 heavy guns) and the 10/12 going to T slots after i lvl them up.And im trading already, (rolled some +12torps,restores,fighters) not with much luck though, maybe im too expensive xD

so, lets take thing one at a time.As far as bve goes you should wait for events. christmas is around the corner so there is going to be an event and if you get lucky you will be able to vet and expert your sailors. Maybe you will even get some boosts. Also you could try and put some vets on those guys by converting experts. the first 30-50 should be very easy to get. The rest wait for the event with a better convertion rate. I was able to expert and vet my entire SN crew during the last event.For AAing you will need a pair of aa gunners. the problem is that you have choose UK and UK aa are not that good. You would have been better of with KM, IJN (at later stage) or MN. The experts (I think not sure) are distributed to the whole crew oh and obviously you will need to learn the Golden Angles of your guns (GA= the set height the planes fly). You should check www.trainworld.us for that or check in the forums or even ask some other players that use aa guns. As far as the gunners you can use the ones you have now for AA (11/11 you said?) and try to roll another pair for your main gunners.Btw an easy way to make credits fast is to roll some nice neutral sailors (+12 for support or even for example 12 engine 11 repairer 11 restorer or something like that) bring them up to level 12 and sell them. usually they go between 300k to 1mil depending from stats and demand.If you need anything else the community is here to help you.

And i wanted to ask about trading...If i roll for example rep +12 but only 8 rest and 9 eng, its quite useless for sale and for own use right ? or +12 AAW the same crap.Or gunner 12/8 a vica versa. is it even sellable ? Or just trash it ?

Hope that makes it clear, and as always save the best rolls for yourself.Just 1 little bit of advise,if as i assume, you are going to sell some sailors to make some credits. AAW/Torpers are not as fast/easy to sell as engis/reps etc. Gunners need to be good pairs to sell easier. Fighter/Bombers sell well.Quote-Or gunner 12/8 a vica versa. is it even sellable ?
